Nicole Walker is an American essayist, poet and professor. She was born in 1968 in Utah, United States. She is the author of several books, including "Sustainability: A Love Story", "Quench Your Thirst with Salt" and "Micrograms". Walker is known for her innovative approach to the essay form and for her focus on environmental and cultural issues. She has received numerous awards and fellowships for her writing, including a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. She currently teaches creative writing at Northern Arizona University, where she also serves as the nonfiction editor for the literary journal "Diagram".
